Therapy to me is a collaborative process that helps people develop a deeper understanding of themselves and how their thoughts, emotions and past experiences influence their emotional and physical wellbeing. It is a space where we can work together to find a way forward towards a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
I offer a warm, compassionate, and respectful environment where clients feel safe to speak openly and move through therapy at their own pace. I approach each person with genuine curiosity and care, recognising that each person’s story and challenges are unique. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to the individual, drawing on evidence-based strategies to support meaningful and sustainable change. Together, we explore past patterns that may be shaping your current challenges, develop practical coping strategies, and work through difficult experiences at a pace that feels manageable, safe, and supportive.
I particularly enjoy working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence (ADHD/Autism), burnout and difficulties adjusting to life transitions. I also have a strong interest in supporting individuals living with physical health challenges, including complex illnesses, acquired injuries, chronic health conditions and understand the profound emotional, psychological, and practical impact these experiences can have, as well as the ways they affect identity, independence, and day-to-day functioning.
My therapeutic approach is integrative in nature, and I draw primarily on modalities including Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I also have accreditation in Standard Triple P and Fear-Less Triple P Parenting Skills programs.
I am currently accepting new referrals for therapy with both adults and young people.
