Join Create Space Psychology

The Position: 

• Part-time role available for an endorsed clinical psychologist or clinical psychology registrar with experience in private practice who can confidently provide evidence-based therapy services to adult clients

• Availability for at least 2 or 3 client days per week, one of which must be a Saturday (full flexibility on timing of sessions and ability to offer evenings/out-of-hours sessions if desired; 1 day of online sessions also available if desired) 

• Interest in working with neurodiversity and/or complex trauma with strong knowledge of neuroaffirming and trauma-informed frameworks is preferable, however, we can also support you to upskill or build out a client list that suits your interests  

• Alignment with our values at Create Space - delivering holistic evidence-based practices via a neuroaffirming, non-pathologising, trauma informed lens

• EMDR trained clinician is desirable but not required 

• Must hold individual ABN, be eligible to offer Medicare-rebated services (i.e., Medicare provider number) and have individual professional indemnity/public liability insurance

• Service fee arrangement + superannuation of 12%

The Space: 

• Our room is located within a wellness studio, home to a massage therapist, pilates instructor and yoga instructor centrally located in New Farm. This offers you a calm, inclusive and non-clinical environment to practice within 

• The room is spacious and brightly lit with both client and clinician needs in mind, including: comfortable furniture, open private balcony, airconditioning, tea, fidgets, ergonomic sit-to-stand desk, computer screen, printer and well-resourced with therapy/assessment tools (i.e., books, whiteboards, cognitive assessment batteries etc)

• No administrative support present on-site but established processes/procedures set up for client access and flow within the space
