Accepting New Clients | Practicing Monday, Wednesdays & Thursdays
Therapy to me is about creating the freedom and space to support personal growth and meaningful change.
I seek to create a warm, supportive and compassionate environment where you can feel comfortable to slow down and be yourself. I value working collaboratively with each client to understand the unique challenges they are facing, clarify what matters to them and move towards the changes they would like to make. I am dedicated to helping clients approach their wellbeing holistically, looking beyond reducing distress to discover the broader factors that contribute to a meaningful and fulfilling life.
I hold over 25 years experience and have supported adults in across both public and private settings. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), in which I have undertaken advanced training, alongside compassion-focused principles. I work actively with clients in session to develop practical strategies they can use in everyday life. This includes learning skills to manage difficult thoughts and feelings, practicing new ways of responding to these experiences, and taking meaningful steps towards the values that matter most to you.
I am particularly passionate about working with individuals experiencing anxiety (including panic, social anxiety and health anxiety), mood and adjustment difficulties, life-stage transitions (such as parenting support, relationship changes & workplace/career changes), workplace stress, as well as challenges experienced during pregnancy and across the postnatal period.
I am currently accepting new referrals for adults aged 18 years and over.
